The Peyla BBQ
Today, I joined Christian, Marie Catherine, their family and friends for a great BBQ! Everything was excellent, from the weather (improved from yesterdays heavy rain, to strong sunshine), to food (catered by The Farm restaurant so of course the very best BBQ ribs, burgers, steak, chicken, and their wonderful Pineapple salsa), to live music – great Blues, from more of their friends!
I don’t like the rain …
It’s been raining a lot today, all day – courtesy of ex-tropical storm Danny, now just a somewhat windy and very wet Saturday 😦
And, when Chloe saw this view outside, she was not impressed! Her normal behaviour is to go outside as soon as one of us gets up in the morning and opens the cat door – but today, that didn’t happen; she really does not like getting wet.
So instead today, she spent many hours asleep, or else eating, but mostly asking “play with me”:
