It was a lovely day today with not a hint of cold weather (high near 70, sunny, beautiful!); I took some pictures at Farnhams in Essex on my way to work …

Almost exactly a year later, the first frost of Winter 2011/12 beautifies the grass and fallen leaves:

We headed to a new beach this afternoon, beautiful Cinnamon Bay with it’s pristine sand and almost empty off-season … And then a rainbow completed the view!

Even though it’s already mid 70s with strong sun, I spotted dew remaining on the grass this morning – because the humidity is so high I suppose!

We had lots of rain over the last couple of days, and it changed the garden from the pictures I posted earlier!

Here’s some new looks at the plants, rain enhanced – or in the case of the Rose bush, rain damaged!

Even with the rain battering, the Rose bush is ready to recover:

An “arty” picture I took over the weekend …

Spring is really rushing now, and many trees at work are creating beautiful flowers …

This is three days later – the trees all open at slightly different times!

Nice weather today, a little cool for May but clear skies and dry … I took a couple of panorama photos which you might enjoy …

Here is in front of our house; the garden is beginning to get color, and the trees in the area are just starting to open their leaves:

The other view is of Goose Cove reservoir at the end of our street – the trees are not really green yet, but the reservoir is full from all that snow we had!
