The weather continues to be spectacular in Florida, and we enjoyed another walk around the lakes at Celebration; pictures in the Gallery, or here:

Today we visited Wakehurst Place; the main reason was to find the location of a painting that my Uncle Keith had created some time in the past:

I think we found a closely similar photograph, though clearly the trees have changed and filled in so that it’s no longer possible to see the stable building on the right:

A bit cold and breezy by the time we got to Beachy Head, but unlike our last visit there was no fog so good views!

On the way from Brighton to Beachy Head, this is a lovely place to see the “white cliffs” of the English South Coast …

No trip to Brighton is complete without walking on Brighton Pier:

Spent an enjoyable day driving South East England with my Dad and Valerie; first we visited Devil’s Dyke:

Taken late last night – pretty, but it meant another cold night with no clouds!

Today was my Uncle Keith’s funeral, which really was a very nice affair with some lovely memories from my Aunt Sheila, and a sweet poem from my brother Richard. There are some pictures in the gallery. Sheila had put together a lovely album of photos and remembrances from the many people that knew Keith – I copied these couple of photos from my history …

With clear skies and cold but sunny weather, Dad took me to Box Hill to admire the English countryside (there were many other people there doing the same thing!):
