The new “S” design on the roof of GBMINI#3 is difficult to see from the ground (see the pics taken by Josh) so with good weather today I used the boom lift machine we have at work to get some pictures from above; it can reach 45 feet but I kept the upper boom horizontal so only reached about 25 feet; nevertheless I was as high as the roof peak of two story buildings …
When I returned home from vacation last night, one of the packages waiting for me was this cute Chili Red / Black duck from Ed Smith (MaxaMINI on MINI2):
Ed has an ongoing theme of ducks, from long ago. He regularly distributes ducks at MINI events and always carries ducks in his MINI … Thank you Ed 🙂
So only just back from Las Vegas & California and with no MINI, I have pics from Josh Wardell to give me a taste of what Sublime Restorations has done to GBMINI#3 while I was away …
I have to say that the pics don’t convey the image I was imagining; of course I really need to see the real car to get the full effect and hopefully I will agree with Josh’ comment that “Looks great!” …
