The “Ice Mountain”

The cold weather has now succeeded in closing the ice hole on our pond, creating instead an “ice mountain” where the water kept splashing up and freezing:

The rest of the pond of course is frozen too, including the waterfall:

Margaret went down on the ice to re-melt open the bubbler hole - we’ll see how long it can stay open this time!
