Once again, Christian’s office is becoming a winter home for Ladybugs (or Ladybirds if you prefer!) … each winter they appear, sneaking in where the door doesn’t quite shut, apparently thinking his office is a nice warm cave to protect them from the winter cold.
They cluster together in the corner (except for those that get lost and die); in the Spring, they all leave again!

That’s very interesting! Autumn Watch (Bill Oddie & Kate Humble) this week mentioned them and their existence, particularly with respect to the fact that our native inhabitants are under attack by continental aliens! Larger and more voracious, much like the Gray and Red squirrel. Also the Ladybug colour and markings differ quite dramatically. Do enjoy these insites to life!
